Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga commends Governor Ododo on the rescue of abducted CUSTECH students, says criminality must have no place in Kogi State
Member representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga has on Tuesday commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the rescue of the abducted CUSTECH students.
The House of Reps Member while commenting on the development said “Kogi State must continually be an unsafe haven for criminal elements.”
“When the news of the abduction broke out, as stakeholders, we called on the State Government and the security agents to rise to the occasion and I am glad that some the abducted students have since been rescued.
I also want to also appreciate the effort of the security agent for the prompt action towards the rescue of the abducted students, I urge them not to relent their efforts until all the abducted students regains their freedom.
“We must continue to insist even on non-partisan grounds that Kogi State is not a place for criminals to thrive for even a second. Kogi State even though it is bounded by many States, some of which are battling banditry at the moment, must continually be an unsafe haven for criminal elements.
“I also call on the security agencies to be up and doing with intelligence gathering and they must ensure they do all the must do within the law to keep Kogi State safe,” Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga said.
