A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Board Member of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okorenkoko, Hon. Adewale Adeogun, has commended the Grassroots Bridge Builder (GBB) for its patriotic disposition and transformative initiatives.
Hon. Adeogun, who also serves as the Deputy Director-General of APC Support Groups, made this known in a goodwill message at a one-day summit organised by the Grassroots Bridge Builder on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Dr. Mariam Babangida Centre for Women Development, Abuja.
The summit highlighted the need for continuity, sustainability, and consolidation of the reforms of the Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu beyond 2027, with a focus on economic prosperity and the overall development of Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Adeogun stated that the Grassroots Bridge Builder had sent a powerful message to Nigerians through its impactful initiatives and advocacy, demonstrating that there are still individuals and groups genuinely committed to the progress and unity of the country at a time when pessimism abounds.
He commended the organisation for its show of love, loyalty, and patriotism toward Nigeria and its leadership.
In an exclusive interview with the media, Hon. Adeogun urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and supportive of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government, noting that the administration is working tirelessly to surmount the challenges confronting the Nigerian state.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has recorded significant progress, particularly in the area of economic reforms, when compared with the situation inherited from the immediate past administration.
The APC chieftain further highlighted the introduction of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a bold and strategic intervention to address funding challenges faced by undergraduates in Nigerian universities, as well as to reduce poverty and inequality across the country.
Hon. Adeogun also noted that the cost of food items has reduced significantly compared to the early months of the Renewed Hope administration, describing this as clear evidence of the government’s commitment to making life easier and more liveable for Nigerians.
