Kogi Govt’s School Closure Decision, Olukayode Eseyin Praises Ododo’s Leadership
The Kogi State Government’s decision to close all public and private schools across the state has been hailed as a timely and commendable move, demonstrating Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the state’s children.
In a statement, Hon. Prince Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, a PDP stakeholder in Kogi State, praised Ododo’s proactive governance and people-centered leadership, saying the move reflects the Governor’s deep concern for the future of the state’s young learners.
“The decision underscores a deep commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and future of our children, as the most valuable asset of any society,” Eseyin said.
“By placing the lives and security of young learners above all other considerations, the Governor has clearly demonstrated that the next generation remains a top priority of his administration.”
Eseyin commended Ododo for his foresight, courage, and genuine concern for human life, qualities that distinguish him as a leader who governs with conscience and compassion.
He urged citizens to cooperate with the government to ensure full compliance with the school closure, in the collective interest of the state’s children and the state as a whole.
The closure has reassured parents, guardians, and stakeholders that the Kogi State Government is committed to protecting its people, especially the most vulnerable.
