Hon. Anyebe Hails Bello’s Visionary Choice, Commends Governor Ododo for Consolidating His Legacy
The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, has applauded former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, for his foresight in supporting the emergence of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as his successor.
Speaking at the Kogi East Chapter meeting of the FGYB Legacy Group held at the Igala Unity House, Anyigba, Hon. Anyebe described Bello’s decision as a “visionary and historic choice” that has continued to yield positive results for the people of Kogi State. He maintained that Governor Ododo has not only justified the confidence reposed in him by his predecessor but has also demonstrated strong commitment to consolidating and expanding the gains of the immediate past administration.
“His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, made the right decision by identifying and supporting Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. Today, Governor Ododo has proven to be a true people’s governor, building on the solid foundations laid by his predecessor and steering the state towards greater development,” Anyebe stated.

He further urged the people of Kogi East and the state at large to continue to rally behind Governor Ododo in order to ensure the full realization of the vision that began under Bello’s leadership.
The meeting, convened by the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, was well attended by top political leaders and stakeholders including the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Elder Joel Salifu; the State Auditor-General, Alhaji Okala Yusuf; Commissioners, National and State Assembly members, political appointees, and other critical stakeholders from Kogi East.
