HON BELLO EXTOLS CMDR OMODARA’S EMPOWERMENT SCHEMES, SUPPORTS WITH 100 THOUSAND NAIRA.
Oke-Offin Bunu Community of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area was agog with soul lifting empowerment programme rolled out for the famers and less- privileged across Oke-Offin-Olle Wards over the weekend as Rtd Cmdr Jerry Omodara dispensed some farming tools with food packages to the people across the area.
In his appreciative message, Hon Seyi Bello, Chairman House Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources who was represented by the Financial Secretary of the APC Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Mr. Taiye Oloniyo thanked the populace for their vote cast which saw him through the House of Assembly and subsequently clenching the position of Deputy Chief Whip of the House.

In the same vein, he praised the efforts of cmdr Jerry Omodara for not forgetting his people and giving the best and timely assistance to them always.
The Kabba/Bunu APC chairman, Hon Solomon Jemibawondo also appreciated the emancipating efforts of the retired Commander, bringing to fore how the State security adviser has once embarked on empowerment of this sort for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, and how he is still relentless in his efforts.
He affirmed that as an appointee on Party level, he sees cmdr Omodara as a factor that has distinctly embarked on empowerment programs often.
The APC State Chairman submitted that, “Hon Seyi Bello will subsequently tow the path”. He enjoined all present to vote APC, citing the Okun University which the Governor has brought and other programmes in the offing.
HRH, Oba Ayinmode James, the Oluwoa of Oke-Offin Bunu commended Omodara for not being egocentric and going all out for the empowerment programme. He traced this feat back to when the retired Commander was the Oke-Offin Development Association President, saying, ‘Omodara has been good to the Community’ and he encouraged him to, ‘put more efforts’.
In his response, the State security adviser who was the empowerment convener acknowledged the presence of Hon Seyi Bello and others for their supportive roles. He pointed out that Seyi Bello gave a hundred thousand naira while he too added another hundred thousand which will cater for the transportation fare of the people to their destination.
He admonished the people to apply into the advertised positions in the Okun University, Kabba, adding that APC should be given a ruling chance against the PDP’s woeful nineteen years of misrule.
The empowerment items rolled out were bags of rice, cutlasses, hoes and harvesting rubbers. These spread across Oke-Offin-Olle Wards. He also gave scholarship to three other indigent students.
The State security adviser finally appealed to all to embrace the party which he , Hon Wemi Jones and Hon Seyi Bello stand for. Another notable figure present was hon Samuel Matthew Ogunsanmi, the APC chairman, Oke-Offin-Olle. The mammoth crowd dispersed with hope, joy and gratitude over the performance of Commander Jerry Omodara.
