Hon. Jethro Funsho Oni, also known as Chopchop, has received the Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award for Community Development in the just concluded 14th anniversary of the organization held in Abuja.

The award ceremony took place on October 9th, 2024 at the Banquet Hall of the Merit House in Maitama, Abuja.
Chief Olugbemi Femi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Michabifem Ventures Limited, the publisher of Democracy Newsline/blog, emphasized the importance of recognizing individuals and organizations who have excelled in their respective fields.
During the ceremony, Dr. Tunde Arosayin, the National Coordinator of Zero Hunger Nigeria, highlighted the crucial role of social media in the development of the agriculture sector.
The award ceremony also recognized other individuals for their exceptional contributions, including political leaders and notable figures from various sectors.
