HON JOSSY DADA: Passage of a political enigma, quintessential community leader and humble politician of great repute… Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi
*Says he will be missed for his truthfulness, selflessness and large heartedness*
The news of the death of late Hon Joseph Dada, former NRC Party Chairman, former Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman, former Special Adviser to former Governor of Kogi State and foremost Political Leader in Kabba, has met the political space and people of Kabba with a rude shock and devastation.
This is according to the Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, he says the death of the Frontline PDP Leader has shattered him and very many others who were at one time or the other under his Political leadership. He says Hon Joseph Dada played Politics with greatest sense of humility, sincerity, capacity and equity. He said the former Chairman was an honest Political Leader, a committed community leader who was driven by passion for development of Kabba community and environs which he demonstrated by using every available means and opportunity to provide developmental strides for the people.
Hon Olabode described Hon Joseph Dada as a politician who was blessed with wisdom of Solomon, an industrialist who was endowed with passion for job creation and customers comfort ahead of personal gains. He further said the deceased played fundamentally leading roles in the community development, Political leadership and general livelihood of the people of Oweland, he submitted that Hon Joseph Dada was careful enough to carry his integrity and simplicity as his trademark in all dealings, engagements and activities so much that the people have come to know him as an honest politician.
*I received with greatest shock, the most devastating and highly saddening news of death of our leader, our community’s conscience, avowed industrialist and political enigma, Hon Joseph Dada, apart from the fact that he was our political leader who led with integrity and commitment, he was a father to me personally, a man who was frank throughout, a selfless Politician who took pride in getting things done and not wanting to be selfish or materialistic. The death of Hon Joseph Dada has closed a page that remains so useful and important to us, it has created a vacuum that not anyone will fill in a short while. We are pained but we are proud of his legacies of honesty, integrity, humility, simplicity and accessibility. I personally commiserates with my friend of thirty years, Mr Babayemi Funsho, his elder brother Tunde, the children of our fallen hero, political allies, friends and well-wishers, may the Lord rest his soul and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss* Omoluabi says
