Hon. Leke Abejide Hosts Gov. Ododo, Deputy Majority Leader, Other House of Representatives Members From Kogi State For Ramadan Iftar.
The Member Representing Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro Federal Constituency and the Kogi State Caucus Leader Hon. Leke Abejide hosted the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Usman Ododo, Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Abdullahi Halims and other House of Representative Members from Kogi State for Ramadan Iftar (Breaking of Ramadan Fast).
Hon. Leke Abejide, the Caucus Leader of Kogi House of Representatives Members hosted the Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, Deputy Majority Leader Hon Abdullahi, Hon. Aguye, Hon. Arch. Salman Idris, Hon. Paul Gowon and other House of Representative Members from Kogi State including the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Aliyu and Hon Deedat for an Iftar dinner on Sunday night.
The event took place as Muslim faithful observe the Ramadan fasting. The holy month is a time for spiritual reflection and communal bonding.
During the gathering, the governor and other members of the Islamic Faith offered prayers to God for peace and prosperity of the state.
The Iftar (Breaking of Fast) hosted by Hon. Leke Abejide underscored inter-faith solidarity to solidify unity, as it demonstrates the level of strong bond among Kogi State leaders.
