HON. OMOLUABI BODE ADEYEMI MOURNS THE PASSING OF OBA IBRAHIM ADE MOMOH, THE OBARO OF IYAMOYE

Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters and Chairman, Forum of Special Advisers, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, the revered Obaro of Iyamoye.
In his condolence message released today, Hon. Omoluabi described the late monarch as a visionary leader, cultural pillar, and a symbol of unity whose reign was defined by peace, progress, and unshakeable commitment to the well-being of his people.
“Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh was a father to many and an exceptional custodian of the heritage of Iyamoye. His wisdom, humility, and developmental strides will forever remain etched in the hearts of his subjects and admirers. His departure is not just a loss to Iyamoye, but to Kogi State and the nation,” he noted.
Hon. Omoluabi extended heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the people of Iyamoye, and the entire traditional council, urging them to take comfort in the enduring legacy the monarch leaves behind.
“We pray that Almighty God grant the royal household and the entire community the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. May the memory of His Royal Majesty continue to inspire unity, cultural pride, and purposeful leadership among his people,” the statement added.
He concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of the monarch’s soul:
“May his soul find eternal rest in the bosom of the Almighty.”
