Hon. Richard Osaseyi Joins Nigerians in Celebrating Democracy Day, Honoring MKO Abiola

CEO of Osaseyi Foundation and DG Ijumu LGA APC campaign council for Ododo/Joel governorship election, Hon. Richard Osaseyi, pays tribute to late Chief MKO Abiola on Democracy Day 2024

Hon. Richard Osaseyi, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics and the CEO of Osaseyi Foundation, has joined the entire nation in celebrating Democracy Day 2024. In a statement released to the press, Osaseyi emphasized the significance of the day and honored the memory of late Chief Moshood Kasimawo Abiola, the hero of Nigerian democracy and the June 12, 1993 election.

As Nigerians commemorate the historic day that marked the transition to the democratic system of government that the country currently enjoys, Hon. Osaseyi urged his fellow citizens to remember the sacrifices of Chief MKO Abiola and all the other heroes who fought tirelessly for democracy in Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that their efforts are not in vain by actively participating in the democratic process and defending the rights and freedoms that accompany it.

“We must all rise up and defend this hard-earned democracy, from the grassroots level to the national leadership,” Hon. Osaseyi stated. He called on every Nigerian with a good conscience to support the government and work towards a more prosperous and inclusive society for all citizens.

Hon. Richard Osaseyi’s message resonates with the sentiments of many Nigerians who cherish the values of democracy and the sacrifices made by those who fought for it. As the nation reflects on its journey towards democracy, it is important to remember the lessons of the past and strive towards a brighter future for all.
