Hon. Sumaila Attah Applauds ICF Over Ankpa Cultural Day Celebration

The Supervisory Councillor for Land, Works and Housing in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Sumaila Attah Muhammed Enjema, has commended the Igala Consultative Forum (ICF), Ankpa Local Government Chapter, for its commitment to preserving the cultural identity and heritage of the Ankpa people in the Igala Kingdom of Kogi East Senatorial District.
Hon. Attah made the commendation while speaking to journalists during the Ankpa Cultural Day Celebration held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Ankpa Township Stadium. The cultural festival attracted a massive turnout of indigenous people from Ankpa, featuring diverse traditional displays and performances.
According to the councillor, the Ankpa chapter of the ICF has demonstrated exceptional dedication, patriotism, and love for the people by organizing what he described as one of the most successful cultural festivals in recent times.
He noted that beyond its cultural significance, the celebration serves as a platform for promoting unity, love, and peaceful coexistence among the people, while also providing an opportunity for stakeholders to deliberate on developmental issues affecting the area.
Hon. Sumaila assured the forum of his continued support in its future activities and urged sons and daughters of Ankpa to support the initiatives of the ICF in the interest of unity, progress, and sustainable development of the area.
