Insecurity: Ijumu Council Boss Shuts Zango Market In Iyara

Chairman, liumu local government council in Kogi state, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, has ordered the immediate closure of Zango cattle market in Iyara.

Speaking with newsmen on Friday, the council chairman explained that the closure followed intelligence reports that kidnappers and other criminal elements have been using the market to carry out their nefarious activities.

It was reliably gathered that after the closure of Zango Markets in some parts of the state, especially in Kogi Central, the criminals moved to lyara.
