Iyamoye Community Announces Burial of Late Monarch, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh
The Iyamoye Community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State has announced the burial arrangements for its late monarch, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ibrahim Ade Momoh, the Obaro of Iyamoye, who passed away on November 9, 2025.

According to a press statement signed by Joel Olorunmaiye, Secretary of the Burial Committee, the late monarch was a revered leader who dedicated his life to the progress of Iyamoye Kingdom and Okunland.
The statement described him as a “father to all, a bridge-builder, and a symbol of unity” whose reign was marked by wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to community development.
The community has scheduled a series of burial activities to honour his life and legacy, and has invited traditional rulers, government officials, and well-wishers to join in paying their last respects.

Muslim Fidau Prayer and Christain Prayer, Friday, February 6, 2027, Venue: Model Primary School Football Field, 9.00AM and 3.00PM respectively
Grand Reception, Model Primary School Football Field, Iyamoye, Time: 10AM
