JERRY OMODARA HOSTS KABBA/BUNU APC LEADERS IN HIS RESIDENCE

The State Security Adviser, Retired Commander Jerry Omodara played host to Kabba/Bunu APC chieftains in his residence in Lokoja on Thursday.

Commander Omodara described the meeting as critical to come together, interact and update party members of the policies and activities of the Government. He said Governor Ododo is focusing on developing infrastructure, in the State, set for revolution in the Agricultural sector in order for us to produce enough food for our people.

He equally said the Governor is doing everything possible to attract several investors into the State, while the security sector is receiving due attention. According to him, the safety of the State is paramount to the Governor, and we must therefore give total support and cooperation with the new administration.

He expressed his appreciation to the leaders for their unflinching support for APC in Kabba/Bunu that gave the party unprecedented victory. it’s therefore necessary that we must collectively work with His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State, and grow the State effectively.

He used the opportunity of the meeting to formally introduce the Caretaker Chairman of Kabba/Bunu, Hon. (Barr) Zaccheous Dare Micheal to the All Progressives Congress stakeholders in the local government.
The House of Assembly Member, Hon Seyi Bello, and the Caretaker Chairman, Hon Zacchous Dare Michael expressed their gratitude for the support given to them and their readiness to support the Government.

All the stakeholders agreed that election is over and it is time for governance. They expressed the readiness of all to rally round Governor Ododo for development in Kogi State. The leaders pleaded with the Governor to consider another slot of Commissioner for Kabba/Bunu.

At the end of the meeting, the party Chieftains unanimously made Commander Omodara the Leader of the party at Local Government level, following a motion moved by Engr. Solomon Bello, and seconded by Hon. Nathaniel Taiwo which was put to vote by Hon Seyi Bello.

The meeting was a huge success as discussions were held on a wide range of issues but centred on building strong relationships that will strengthen and grow the APC party in Kabba/Bunu.
Commander Jerry Omodara assured that it’s just the beginning and that more meetings and events geared towards strengthening the party will be organized regularly. Our coming together must not be for election alone, we must know about the policies and activities of the government. He said.

He further emphasized his commitment to ensuring we come together as members of APC in Kabba/Bunu and ensure our members are carried along in decision making. We must collectively work together to support the Government.

Present at the interactive meeting includes; Hon. Seyi Bello, KGHA Member for Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Zaccheous Dare, Kabba/Bunu Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Moses Olorunleke, Frm Kabba/Bunu Chairman, Hon. Solomon Jemibawondo, the APC Chairman Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo, Frm Kabba/Bunu Chairman and KGHA Member respectively.

Others are Chief (Hon). Alfred Bello, Frm. KGHA Member Kabba/Bunu, Honorable Funsho Oni (Chop Chop), Frm. KGHA Member Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Niyi Olayemi (So’mi Edumare), Chief Funsho Olorunfemi, Frm. Chairman Kabba/Bunu, Honorable (Engr) Solomon Bello, Frm. Chairman Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Femi Owoniyi (Omoga), Mr Folusho Braimoh, Pst. Samuel Ajunihi, Hon. Charles Olorunmaiye, the APC Secretary Kabba/Bunu, Mr Segun Ogbonikan, and several other personalities.
