Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman, Family Pay Tributes to Late Sister, Hon. (Mrs.) Adebayo Kehinde Hannah
The Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, whose elder sister, Kehinde, passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 63, was joined by family members as her remains were laid to rest on Friday, April 24, 2026.
A funeral service was held at Cathedral Church of St Andrew, Odolu, Kabba, followed by interment at the church premises in the presence of family members.
Paying tribute, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael said:
“We laid our eldest sister, Mrs Adebayo Kehinde Hannah to rest today. As I said in my remarks, Mrs Kehinde has lived a full life. Her works live on and her deeds will go well with her. Rest well, Mama K, until we meet to part no more.”
He expressed appreciation to all who supported the family:
“Let me use this opportunity to thank everyone who joined us for the funeral rites. I especially thank my leaders and friends: Hon Duro Meseko, APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Arch. Salman Idris, Member representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency; Hon Danladi Aguye, Member representing Lokoja/Kogi to Federal Constituency; Hon Paul Gowon, Member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency; Hon Segun Olobatoke; Hon Femi Esemikose; Hon Dare Joshua, Yagba East LGA Chairman; Hon Ibrahim Haruna, Ijumu LGA Chairman; Hon Bashiru Okatengwu, Adavi LGA Chairman; Hon Adamu Abdullahi, Lokoja LGA Chairman; Hon Nihi Oladele; Hon Eseyin Kayode; and Hon Bank Andrew, who took time out of their busy schedules to be with us.”
A service of songs was held earlier on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Oribi Quarters, opposite General Hospital, Kabba. A reception followed the internment at the Olonijola Event Centre, Kabba.
During the service of songs, the Chairman recounted lessons learnt from his late sister, noting that she held the family together and sacrificed greatly for him.
Prior to the burial, the Chairman received condolence messages and visits from notable personalities across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
