This sentiment was eloquently expressed by Alhaji Salisu Kabiru, a former chairman of Kabo LGA, who spoke on behalf of a broad coalition of stakeholders from the area during a recent courtesy visit to Senator Barau’s office at the National Assembly in Abuja.
Addressing the Deputy Senate President, Alhaji Kabiru said, “You have transformed Kabo into a Maitama-like city with all the necessary basic amenities. We are deeply grateful for this transformation.” His words resonated with many, encapsulating the profound changes witnessed across the ten wards of Kabo under Senator Barau’s leadership.

The delegation comprised an impressive cross-section of the community, including former local government chairmen, directors, influential politicians, serving civil servants, educators, traders, and farmers. This diverse representation underscored the broad-based appreciation for the development initiatives spearheaded by Senator Barau.
According to the spokesman for the group, the stakeholders wished to express their heartfelt gratitude for the numerous infrastructural projects that have revitalized every corner of Kabo LGA. “No ward has been left behind,” he emphasized. “Senator Barau’s impact is evident in every sector—roads have been constructed and rehabilitated, healthcare facilities upgraded, schools improved, access to electricity expanded, water supply enhanced, and agricultural development programs introduced. These efforts have collectively elevated the living standards of our people.”
In response, Senator Barau I. Jibrin warmly thanked the delegation for their continuous support and dedication to community development.
