This was announced by the State Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, following the postponement of the original resumption date on Saturday, September 7th.

In a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment at the State Ministry of Education, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, and made available to newsmen in Kano, parents and guardians have been urged to take note of the revised schedule to ensure full compliance.

The statement also reminded students to refrain from bringing any illegal items such as knives or razors to school and emphasized the importance of obeying school regulations.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing quality education, the statement noted: “The administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif is dedicated to creating a conducive learning environment that will inspire and empower our students to excel academically.”

The statement further called on the public to continue their cooperation with the Ministry of Education, assuring that necessary measures are in place to ensure an effective learning atmosphere.

The government also wished all students, pupils, and teachers a successful new academic year, emphasizing that routine monitoring will be conducted to ensure staff punctuality and efficiency throughout the term.
