Senator Sunday Karimi Facilitates 1.2 Billion Naira Remodeling Project for Government Secondary School Koto Karfi
In a significant stride towards enhancing educational infrastructure in Kogi West, Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi has successfully facilitated the foundation laying ceremony for the remodeling of Government Secondary School Koto Karfi.
This pivotal project, initiated by the National Senior Secondary Education Commission, is valued at over 1.2 billion naira.

The Executive secretary also disclosed that the National Senior Secondary Education Commission, on Wednesday, revealed that a total of 50 selected senior secondary schools will undergo infrastructural upgrade nationwide as part of its mandates as an intervention agency.
The ceremony marks a new chapter for the school, underscores Senator Karimi’s unwavering commitment to improving educational facilities and ensuring that students in the region have access to a conducive learning environment.

Iyela noted that a NEEDS assessment had been conducted across the various selected schools, following the rehabilitation mandate given by President Bola Tinubu.
Iyela noted that the upgrade of the 50 schools in the first phase will cost N47.5bn.
