KGCSDA to spend N103m in 7 Kogi Communities.
… to fund projects in health, water and education sectors.
The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency is set to Flag off fifteen projects in seven communities across Kogi State.
This was made known by the General Manager of the Agency, Chief Dauda Momoh in a meeting with the prospective benefitting communities ahead of the flag off.
The General Manager said the projects would be funded with about N103million under the basic services Infrastructure of the Nigerian COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Program.
The General Manager congratulated the communities for making it to the flag off stage, urged the communities to complete all the necessary documentation for a hitch free flag off scheduled for next week
The General Manager who addressed the Communities and their service providers, charged them to implement the projects according to specifications and sector standard, pointing out that the Agency would not hesitate to sanction defaulters.
According to the Operations Manager, Mr. Kayode Oladipo and facilitator of the meeting, said the prospective benefitting communities are Takete, Oroke Amuro, Apata-Ipatra, Osara, Ogori, Ayade and Ochadamu Communities.
The Projects according to Mr. Oladipo would cut across health, water and education sector.
In response, the Secretary, Ochadamu Community Project Management Committee, Pastor Victor Bakwo who spoke on behalf of his Community and other Communities said the Agency would be funding the renovation of classrooms, Pharmacy and the provision of workshop and equipment at the leprosy department of Holy Memorial Hospital and others in the health, water and education sectors, assured that the Community and other beneficiaries would justify the huge government resources.
