Kogi @32: Speaker celebrate with Gov Bello, citizens
The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has congratulated the Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the entire citizens on the occasion of the 32 nd Anniversary of the state’s creation.
In a message made available to the media by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Yabagi Mohammed, the head of the legislature expressed gratitude to the Governor for his tremendous developmental strides since his assumption of office more than seven years ago.
Rt Hon Yusuf said Kogi has grown in lips and bounds under the current administration as several achievements in all sectors have shown that no administration has done as much as Governor Bello since creation on the 27th of August, 1991 to uplift Kogi’s status in terms of infrastructure, health, education, security and other sectors.
The Speaker noted that the occasion marks not only the passage of time but also a testament to the growth, progress, and achievements that Kogi has accomplished since its inception, adding that the journey so far serves as a reminder of the dedication, hard work, and resilience of government and the citizens who have contributed to the development and prosperity being witnessed.
