Kogi Ambassador Network 4 Ododo (Kano) has congratulated the All Progressive Congress (APC) governoship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo Usman on his recent victory at the Appeal Court in Abuja.
Recalled that the Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Friday, dismissed the appeal filed by a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Abubakar Achimugu, seeking to nullify the primary election of the party, which produced Usman Ododo as the APC Governorship candidate for the election slated for November 11 in the state.
The court held in a unanimous judgment that the appeal challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja lacked merit and dismissed it accordingly.
The Convener of the group, Prince Matthew Kolawole said with the victory the coast is clear for the APC in the coming November 11 Governorship election in the state.
He said that the Appeal Court Judgment has shown that the party’s governoship primary was free and fair and transparent.
“The choice of Ododo as the party’s governorship candidate is a collective decision of the party members across that state which led to his victory during the election.
He on behalf of the coordinators and members of group congratulated Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for the landmark judgment that validated his candidature.
