KOGI APC FLAG OFF RALLY: OMODARA LAUDS THE TURNOUT OF CROWD
_….Says Ododo will bring purposeful leadership and good governance if elected_
Kogi State Security Adviser, Navy Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd) has said the outcome of the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign flag off that took place on Sunday, 8th October 2023 at the Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja was extremely electrifying.
The State Security Adviser made the remark on Monday while speaking with some journalists in Lokoja.
Navy Commander Jerry Omodara who said the turnout of crowd at the campaign flag off of Kogi APC was massive and enormous, added that the tumultuous crowd recorded yesterday is a testament to the acceptability of the candidature of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
Speaking further, he saids the event serves as a clear indication that the APC campaign activities for the upcoming governorship election in Kogi State have now commenced, adding that all teeming supporters of our party should continue to project Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and his Deputy Governorship candidate, Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu in good light for overall victory at the end of the poll.
He commended the security agencies for their professional handling of the event even with the massive turnout for the campaign, noting that no stone will be left unturned (security-wise) as we embark on the campaign proper across the State. He noted.
He however, reinstated the readiness of the state government to ensure that the people of the state experience a peaceful electoral process. Also, he called on Kogites to rise in unison and not withhold vital informations that could assist the government in the furtherance of it’s desire to apprehend those causing violent and make sure they are brought to book.
