KOGI APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE ENDORSED BY ARC. SULE, GEN. AMUDA AHEAD OF KOGI NOVEMBER POLL
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has continued to demonstrate undeterred readiness and commitment by not relenting on his statewide consultations ahead of the official commencement of Kogi Governorship election November campaign activities.
Alhaji Ododo led his team to visit the former commissioner in Kogi State, Arc. Sule and General Amuda at their separate residences to officially inform them of his ambition to govern the state whilst seeking their supports.
General Amuda who received Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his entourage acknowledged Ododo’s consultations across-the-board; saying, “you are always there, we will take you there, we will give you maximum support to win the election and do well”.
Alhaji Ododo astonished by the warmth reception and hospitality by the two heavyweight political tacticians appreciated Arc. Sule and Gen. Amuda for their invaluable contributions and commitment to the development of Kogi State and beyond whilst assuring them of his interest in governing the state devoid of ethnic and religious sentiments.
He promised to consolidate on the gains and achievements of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello who he described as a detribalised leader that has distinguished himself in the annals of governance in Kogi State by breaking ethnic and religious jinx that have long bedevilled the state.
Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo added that Kogi State belongs to all and collectivism is key towards rebuilding the Kogi of our dream.
It will be recalled that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo emerged the Kogi State APC Governorship candidate through a direct primary election on April 14 and was ratified through a special Congress of the party on April 15, 2023.
