Kogi Attorney General Felicitates Governor Ododo on Birthday, Hails His Visionary and Inclusive Leadership
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Kogi State, Muizudeen Yunus Abdullahi, SAN, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing him as a beacon of progressive, inclusive and people-oriented leadership.
In a congratulatory message issued to mark the Governor’s birthday, the Attorney General, speaking on behalf of his family and the Office of the Attorney General, said the occasion offers an opportunity not only to celebrate the Governor’s life but also to reflect on the quality of leadership he has brought to the state.
“Today, we do not merely celebrate the passage of time; we honour the emergence and impact of a truly good man,” Abdullahi stated. “Your Excellency’s leadership is defined by uncommon humility, integrity and genuine compassion for the people you serve. These virtues form the very foundation upon which your administration is built.”
He commended Governor Ododo’s visionary approach to governance, noting that within a short period, the Governor has articulated a clear and compelling vision for a prosperous, united and secure Kogi State.
“Your strategic blueprints and unwavering commitment to development are already inspiring hope and driving tangible progress across the Confluence State,” he said. “Your inclusive yet decisive leadership style gives confidence that Kogi State is firmly on the path to realising its immense potential.”
The Attorney General also praised the Governor’s gender-friendly policies, describing them as deliberate and commendable steps towards equitable governance and sustainable development.
“By consciously promoting the inclusion and participation of women in governance and development initiatives, Your Excellency is strengthening our democracy and enriching our social fabric,” Abdullahi noted.
As the state’s Chief Law Officer, Abdullahi further acknowledged Governor Ododo’s steadfast commitment to the rule of law, justice and institutional strengthening.
“Kogi State is fortunate to have a Governor who understands that genuine development can only thrive where laws are respected, rights are protected and institutions are strong,” he said. “Your consistent support for the judiciary and law enforcement agencies reflects your belief in a just, orderly and peaceful society.”
Describing Governor Ododo as “a leader for today and an architect of the future,” the Attorney General said the Governor’s passion for service, devotion to the welfare of citizens and respect for democratic values remain a source of inspiration.
He prayed for divine guidance, wisdom and good health for the Governor as he marks a new year.
“I pray that Almighty Allah grants you continued wisdom, robust health and renewed strength to lead Kogi State to greater heights,” Abdullahi added. “May He protect you and your family and crown all your efforts with resounding success.”
He concluded by wishing the Governor a happy birthday and a year filled with remarkable achievements and personal fulfilment.
