Kogi Central Staff Congratulate Provost on His Confirmation as Substantive Provost
Staff members of the Kogi Central Senatorial District at the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, led by Scientist Alaba Emmanuel, paid a congratulatory visit to the Provost of the College, Dr. San Umar Anataku Shaibu, following his confirmation as the substantive Provost of the institution.
Speaking during the visit, Scientist Alaba Emmanuel, in his opening remarks, congratulated the Provost on his confirmation and commended his leadership style and achievements since assuming office. He described Dr. San Umar Anataku Shaibu as a pace-setter and visionary leader, noting that his strides in the development of the College and his approach to leadership were worthy of commendation.
He expressed the group’s appreciation for the Provost’s leadership and wished him a successful tenure as the substantive Provost of the institution.
Responding, the Provost, Dr. San Umar Anataku Shaibu, appreciated the group for the honour and congratulatory gesture. He encouraged the members to remain united and work together as a team, stressing the importance of unity in achieving the collective goals of the College.
The Provost further called on the group to foster unity and harmonious relationships with members of other ethnic groups within the College. He emphasised that the College belongs to everyone and that peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and cooperation among staff from different backgrounds are essential for institutional growth and development.
Also speaking, the Registrar of the College, Dr. G. F. Balogun, commended the group for the thoughtful gesture and congratulated the Provost on his confirmation. She called on members of the group to remain united, committed and dedicated to their various places of primary assignment, urging them to contribute positively to the progress and success of the College.
The programme also featured the presentation of a beautifully inscribed photo frame to the Provost by the group. In a symbolic gesture, the Provost dedicated the photo frame to the College, describing it as a representation of unity, support and commitment to the institution.
The event ended on a convivial note, with renewed calls for unity, peaceful coexistence, teamwork and collective commitment towards taking the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, to greater heights.
