Denouncement Of YPP Endorsement.
I Honourable Adekunle Agbogun of Amuro Ward, Mopa-amuro local government area of Kogi State and a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC in Kogi State write to denounce the Purported Endorsement and adoption of my humble self As the chairmanship candidate of Young Peoples Party in the forthcoming local government council elections in Kogi State.

I humbly enjoy the leadership of our great Party the All Progressive Congress APC to disregard the endorsement and adoption of the YPP in totality.
I wish to place on record that I was never consulted nor approached by the YPP party hierarchy before the said adoption was made without my consent.
It’s equally imperative to state that I never wish to pursue my championship ambition under any other political party apart from the APC which is a party that I have invested my own time and resources to build and nurture to this enviable statue.
I have remain a stunt follower and disciple of the Renew Hope Agenda of Mr President, His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu and a dedicated Supporter of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State.
Therefore I do not have any reason to involve myself in any political alliance that can negates the overall interest of the party I had labour vehemently to build and sustain.
While I sincerely wish to appreciate the leadership and members of the YPP as a political party in Kogi State for their recognition and endorsement of me as their party chairmanship candidate I want to place it on record that I am a loyal and committed party member of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC in Kogi State and I have no reason to work against the overall interest and goal of our great Party, the APC and I shall remain committed and dedicated to the ideals and philosophy of our great Party.
To this end I wish to urge members of APC in Mopa Amuro, my teaming Supporters and the general public to disregard the said adoption in it’s entirety and gather all the needed support for the APC and it’s candidate come 19th October 2024.
