The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu, has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Pst. Mrs. Folashade Arike AyoAde, Ph.D., the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, on her recent appointment as the Chairperson of the Forum of Secretaries to the Government of APC States, as well as the honor of being conferred with the chieftaincy title of Yeye Oba of Mopa Land by His Royal Highness, Oba Muyiwa Ibeum, the Elulu of Mopa and the Chairman of the Mopa-Muro Local Government Area Traditional Council.

In a statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor Mr Unubi Emmanuel, the Deputy Governor gave the message when he received Dr. Folashade Arike AyoAde at his residence in Lokoja, shortly after returning from an official trip. He described her new appointment and title as well-deserved, noting that it serves as a recognition of her unwavering dedication and diligence to the service of the state.

He commended her exceptional contributions to the achievements of the New Direction administration under former Governor Yahaya Bello, as well as the current government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He said that her commitment to the advancement and prosperity of the state is truly immeasurable.

Deputy Governor Salifu described Dr. Ayoade’s appointment as a credit to her exceptional leadership skills, dedication, and service to the state and nation. He noted that her new role would further amplify her influence in shaping governance and policy implementation across the country.

Additionally, Elder Salifu congratulated Dr. Ayoade on her coronation as the “Yéyé Oba of Mopa Land,” a traditional honor that reflects her esteemed position in her community. He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength as she navigates these new responsibilities.

Comrade Joel Salifu wished her success in her new role, offering prayers for her sound health and long life, to continue serving the state and the nation effectively.
