KOGI DEPUTY GOVERNOR FELICITATES PROFESSOR SALISU USMAN OGBO ON HIS REAPPOINTMENT AS KOGI POLY RECTOR
The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, has extended his warm congratulations to Professor Salisu Usman Ogbo on his well-deserved reappointment as the substantive Rector of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
In a statement personally signed by the Deputy Governor, he commended Professor Ogbo’s outstanding impact on the state institution as unprecedented, recognizing his academic excellence, infrastructural development, and remarkable contributions to the host community. The Deputy Governor praised Ogbo for his exemplary leadership and successful efforts in turning around the institution’s fortunes.
Comrade Joel Salifu emphasized that the presence of a dedicated leader like Professor Ogbo has been instrumental in the progress of the institution, stating that his reappointment will further elevate the Kogi State Polytechnic to the same level with other top institutions in the country.

He prayed for divine guidance for the Rector to lead the polytechnic to success.
Deputy Governor Joel expressed gratitude to his boss, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for recognizing dedication, competence, and genuine leadership.
He commended the governor for reinstating the Rector for another term of four years, acknowledging him as a true leader and a father for all.
He reassured the governor that the academic don will undoubtedly meet and exceed all expectations.
