Kogi Deputy Gov’s Message To His Principal, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo Over Father’s Demise
With deep sorrow, I join the government and the good people of Kogi State to express heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, and the other members of the family over the passing of our beloved father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, who passed away today after a brief illness.
The pain of losing a father at the pinnacle of one’s lifetime is deep, especially when his wisdom and guidance are most needed. Within the few years I knew him, our father was a peaceful Man to the core, very hospitable, and homely to all. He does not discriminate nor place himself too high, despite his status in the society. We have lost a rare gem.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanatu Firdaus. It is also my earnest prayer that the Almighty Allah grant His Excellency and all members of the family, the fortitude to bear this great loss.
