Kogi East APC Youth Leader Felicitates Elder Oyibo, Pledges Support for Ododo/Oyibo Mandate Beyond 2027

A vibrant youth leader and political figure in Kogi State, Honourable Sumaila Umoru has joined hundreds of well-wishers across the state in felicitating with Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, following his reception at a grand ceremony organized by the Ofu Local Government Traditional Council on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Ejule.
In a message made available to correspondents, Honourable Sumaila conveyed warm greetings and prayed that Almighty Allah grants the Deputy Governor sound health, wisdom, and the capacity to continue executing his duties effectively while contributing meaningfully to the governance of the state.

He praised Elder Joel Oyibo for his humility and loyalty to his principal, Ahmed Usman Ododo, noting that the strong working relationship between the two leaders has enhanced and facilitated good governance in Kogi State.
The youth leader also reaffirmed his unwavering support for the administration led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor Joel Oyibo. According to him, the continuity of the present administration beyond 2027 would bring multidimensional transformation to the state, considering the ongoing pace of development.
He further appealed to citizens of the state, especially the youth, to remain supportive of the current administration and work collectively toward sustaining its leadership beyond 2027.
