Kogi Governor Praised for Swift Action Against Bandits
Lokoja, Kogi State – The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, has received accolades for his prompt response to security threats in the state, with a PDP stakeholder, Olukayode Eseyin describing him as a “God-sent leader”.
According to a press release, the Governor’s directive to security agencies led to a successful operation in Obajana, where bandits were repelled, earning the phrase “serving banditry breakfast”.
Hon. Prince Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, PDP National Youth Leader Aspirant, commended the Governor’s proactive leadership and the Kogi State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara, for their roles in the operation.

Eseyin noted that the partnership between the Governor and Security Adviser has strengthened the state’s security, saying Kogites can trust their government to prioritize their safety.
The statement described the intervention as “highly commendable” and reassuring, adding that the people of Kogi State appreciate the government’s efforts.
