Kogi Guber 2023: Dr Ogbo interfaces Ankpa Tailoring Association, Olakumaka Kimaninwan Club for Ododo candidacy
Ankpa Tailoring Association has today joined the league of numerous interest groups to support Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman who has taken the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign to grassroots to endorsed the candidacy of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu ahead of the Governorship Election slated to hold on the 11th of November 2023.
The association made their decisions known when they met with Dr. Usman whom they described as champion of grassroots empowerment and has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people in the Local Government
While speaking at the meeting, the group through its Chairman, Mallam Salisu Audu stated that their decision to unanimously endorse the APC and its candidate ahead in the forthcoming Guber poll was hinged on the obvious incontrovertible fact that Dr. Usman done impressively done well by providing employment opportunities to worthy sons and daughters of Ankpa Local government.

“Just as I have enjoyed Dr. Usman’s benevolence during my undergraduate studies at Kogi State University, Anyigba now Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, I am very much optimistic that with him working closely with Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman led administration, many dividend of democracy will be enjoyed and our graduates will be gainfully employed,” he asserted.
Similarly, Olakumaka Kimaninwan Club of polling Unit 008 also affirmed their support for the APC candidates in the November governorship election in the state.
The chairman of the club, Yusuf Jemil said the positive impacts of Dr. Usman needs to be reciprocated, hence, their unanimous resolution to adopt the the ruling party’s Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman as the only governorship candidate in the November 11 governorship poll.
In his separate response, Dr. Usman commended the associations for their sincere support while assuring them of Alhaji Ododo/Joel’23 Consolidation and Continuity on the gains and achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello led administration.
He admonished them to remain steadfast and committed to Kogi developmental agenda just as he reiterated his commitment to working closely with incoming administration of Alhaji Ododo/Joel’23 in order to ensure empowerments to the association.
Dr. Usman noted that Alhaji Ododo has been around and knows how to build on the firm foundation that His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello Bello and would not disappoint the good people of Ankpa Local Government and Kogi State at large when elected.
He charged them to dislodge any ‘parochial ethnic sentiments’ and work assiduously towards ensuring the seemless victory for Alhaji Ododo on November 11 Governorship Poll.
