Kogi Guber: Dr. Ogbo Appreciates supporters, APC stalwarts for massive turnout, inaugurates Ododo/Joel’23 Door to Door Campaign Network across Kogi East

…Reiterates commitment to replicate same in Kogi West and Central Senatorial districts

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi State Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman has expressed deep appreciation for the massive turnout and overwhelming support of people of Ankpa LGA, Kogi East and entire state for their supports that resulted to successful Ododo/Joel’23 Door to Door Campaign Network inauguration.

The event that took place on Sunday 30th July, 2023 in Ankpa, hometown of Dr. Usman commenced with a Solidarity Walk through the Ankpa metropolis to Ankpa LGA Secretariat, venue of the inauguration.

The program had in attendance, Chairman of nine Local Governments in Kogi Easy and their counterpart from Lokoja LGA.

Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf, Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Enema Paul; Former Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Rabiu Alfa, Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello; the Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu, and several other APC chieftains were also in attendance.

Ankpa Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu in his address, reassured His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello that the good people of Ankpa Local Government will deliver Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo come November 11 Governorship election adding that, there would be no room for compromise before, during and after the Gubernatorial Poll.

He thanked Dr. Ogbo for exhibiting leadership per excellence which culminated in the LGA being one of the strongholds of the ruling party.

Former Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Alfa Rabiu, urged members of the party in the local government to ignore those spreading mundane sentiments, and come together to ensure massive victory for APC in the November 11 governorship election, adding that only the APC promises unity and development to the state.

The Chairman of APC in Kogi State, Hon. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar) whilst inaugurating Ododo/Joel’23 Door to Door Campaign Network coordinators across the Kogi East Local Government appreciated Dr. Ogbo for providing exemplary leadership by hitting the ground running just as he emphasized that the only sellable candidate amongst several others jostling for the governorship seat of Kogi State is Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU).

He expressed confidence in APC chieftains in Ankpa Local Government and the ability of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo Salifu to bring the much-anticipated consolidation on the gains of his party’s administration in Kogi State in the past 7 years years.

Hon Bello said, he has no doubts that Ankpa is sealed and that, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo will overwhelmingly win Ankpa Local Government as he used the occasion to send a strong warning that anti party activities will not be condone from any quarter because of party supremacy.

The Chief Host of the event, Dr Salisu Ogbo Usman while expressing unreserved appreciation to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for finding him useful and resourceful in his administration promised not to disappoint him.

He assured members that the incoming government of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman would continue to flourish the bar of youth and women inclusivity because he’s a product of the system who has garnered experience to consolidate on the gains and achievements of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Dr. Usman further reiterated that as against the promotion of selfish and regressive agenda in some quarters, Alhaji Ododo’s mandate would be a reflection of the greatest majority of the Kogi State.

He also made bold to say, Dr. Ogbo Door to Door Campaign Network will be spread to Kogi Central and West senatorial districts in other to ensure seamless and overwhelming victory for APC.

Various speakers at the event charged the people to engage in ward-to-ward sensitization ahead of the election.

Highlights of the event were visitation to the palaces of Onu Ankpa and Ejeh of Ankpa for royal blessings, and the overwhelming endorsement of the candidacy of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and Joel Oyibo Salifu for the November 11th governorship election.
