Kogi Guber: Ijumu is for APC – Olumoko

Former Chairman of Ijumu local Government Area and Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Hon Funsho Olumoko aka Ogidi Omo has reiterated that Ijumu local govt is for APC, hence there is no room for the opposition parties in the forthcoming Governorship election slated to hold on the November 11, 2023.

He disclosed this yesterday in Iyara while chatting with journalists shortly after the stakeholders meeting of the ruling All Progressive Congress.

According to him, the party will leave no stone unturned until they win overwhelmingly, stressing that with the numbers of the critical stakeholders that attended the meeting, it is clear that the APC is still doing well in the area.

He said the party will continue to woo individuals and groups to continue to join the party, stressing that even the financial support of the opposition party in Ijumu is in support of the APC.

“The people you are seeing here are the footsoldiers of the big politicians outside there, even Senator Smart Adeyemi will still join the campaign train because he has no other party to go. He with us, he is our person, we are talking to him, we are persuading him already, very soon he will join us to win together for the APC”
