Kogi Info Commissioner Congratulates Ekinrin Adde People Over Akogba FM Launch
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Kingsley Fanwo has congratulated the people of Ekinrin Adde on the the successful launch of a community radio, Akogba FM 88.3.

The Commissioner gave the commendation, Tuesday in a congratulatory message to the community, saying community radio stations are needed to expand information dissemination and grassroots sensitisation.
“Ekinrin Adde has set the pace for others to follow by establishing Akogba FM. This is supported by the policy of our Administration to expand the platform for information dissemination and grassroots sensitisation.
“Akogba FM has blazed the trail and it will serve the purpose of ensuring the people of Ijumu, parts of Kabba Bunu and even neighbouring states are well informed about happenings in Kogi, Nigeria and the world at large”.
Fanwo urged the new radio station to adhere strictly to the tenets of broadcasting, assuring them of cooperation and support from the State Government.
He called on the management of the station to use the platform judiciously in promoting the culture of the people.
