Kogi LG Polls: Former Speaker, Matthew Kolawole supports APC Candidates with cash

The immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has supported the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kabba-Bunu local government area with cash.

This was disclosed by his media aides posted on social media, stressing that it has become imperative for him to support them during this critical time of this political struggle.

He said as active member of the party he will continue to support the party to succeed, urged Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission to provide the enabling environment for the process to be credible.

Each of the fifteen councilorship candidates gets 50,000 naira while the Vice Chairman candidate get 100,000 naira, for the Chairmanship candidate, the amount is not disclosed.

The donations shows that the former speaker is still committed to empowering local leaders and enhancing community development in the local government area.
