Kogi Mourn: Vice President Shettima Leads Condolence Visit to Governor Ododo

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, warmly welcomed Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima at the Obajana Airstrip. The Vice President is in Kogi State to lead a presidential delegation to condole with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo following the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed MomohSani.

Several high-ranking officials were present to receive the Vice President, including Hon. David Idris Zacharias, Shehu Seidu Amodu, Dr. Folashade Arike AyoAde, Dr. Isaiah Evinemi, Hilary Ojoma Egwudah, Rtd. Cmdr. Jerry Omadara, Hajia Oyiza Omade, Rt. Hon. Momoh Alfa Rabiu, Onuh Edoka, and Muhammed Nasiru Alfa. Heads of Security Agencies and other senior government officials also attended the reception.

The Vice President’s visit highlights the significance of the late Alhaji Ahmed MomohSani’s legacy and the esteem in which he was held by both the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the people of Kogi State. The condolence visit is a gesture of solidarity with Governor Ododo and his family during this difficult time.
