Kogi PASAN Election: Ayo Omotola emerges Chairman, Alkali as Welfare Sec., Others unopposed

Inauguration holds November 28

Officers to run the affairs of the Kogi State Chapter of Parliamentary Association of Nigeria have emerged.

The election which was keenly contested saw Mr. Ayo Omotola as Chairman who pulled 71 votes against his closest contender, Mall. Idris Yusuf who had 43 votes.

Mallam Alikali Yunusa clinched the position of Welfare Secretary with 69 votes while Haruna Idris scored 39 votes.

The Secretary’s and other positions of the Union were unopposed with hope to inaugurate the new officials upon the expiration of the incumbent executives next month.
