KOGI PDP CHAIRMAN URGES PARTY EXECUTIVES TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE IN ONGOING E-REGISTRATION
The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has called on all State, Zonal, Local Government, and Ward Executives to ensure they are registered in the ongoing PDP e-registration exercise.
Hon. Gambo in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja today, said party leaders must lead by example if they expect members to participate fully in the process.
He stressed that the only way to encourage grassroots members to register is for executives to first show commitment by registering themselves.
He pointed out that the e-registration is compulsory for all party members and, while acknowledging that current efforts have been impressive, urged executives to do more to ensure wider coverage across the state.
Describing the PDP as “the bride for Nigerians,” Hon. Gambo noted that reports so far indicate the PDP is the most sought-after party in Kogi State.
He expressed confidence that the party will take over Lugard House and win all elections from top to bottom in the 2027 general elections.
The Chairman also thanked PDP members for their show of love and support at the just-concluded stakeholders’ meeting held in Lokoja.
He said the enthusiasm displayed by members is encouraging and serves as a clear indication that the PDP remains the only alternative party with the capacity to reposition the country from poverty to prosperity.
