Kogi Police Commissioner Reassures Residents of Safety Amidst Rumors of Bandit Attacks
The Kogi State Police Command has dismissed rumors of planned bandit attacks in the state, assuring residents that their lives and property are safe.
Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, stated that the police are taking the matter seriously and have deployed tactical teams, including the Police Mobile Force, counter-terrorism, Quick Response, and intelligence units, to strategic locations across the state.
The police command has also shared an emergency contact number, 07038329084, for residents to report any suspicious activities.
CP Kankarofi emphasized that security is a shared responsibility and urged residents to work together with the police to keep the state safe ¹ ².
