The Rector commended Governor Ododo for the love and support extended to the institution, describing the Governor’s actions as historic as Kogi State is among the few states to implement the minimum wage.

He added that the gracious approval of N72,500 as minimum wage is a welcome development and a positive effect of continuity and consolidation, whilst also commending the Governor for graciously approving the implementation of the Health Insurance Scheme, which he said has reaffirmed that this administration prioritizes workers’ welfare.

Professor Usman noted that Kogi State workers, and particularly staff of Kogi State Polytechnic, will forever be grateful for the love extended to the institution amidst the current economic hardship.

The Rector appreciated the impressive performance of Governor Ododo and reiterated the unflinching support of the institution’s Management for the present administration to succeed.
