Kogi Security Adviser Hails New INEC Chairman, Praises President Tinubu for Recognizing Kogi’s Excellence

The Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), has extended his warm congratulations to Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN, on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This appointment, announced recently by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, marks a significant milestone in the career of the renowned legal scholar and Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Commander Omodara’s congratulatory message is not just a gesture of goodwill but also a testament to the esteemed reputation Professor Amupitan has built over the years. His dedication to promoting credible and transparent elections aligns perfectly with the values of the office he now occupies.

In a statement, Commander Omodara expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for considering Kogi State worthy of this prestigious appointment. “We are proud to note that this appointment is a strong validation of President Tinubu’s commitment to excellence, merit, and national inclusiveness in the leadership of our democratic institutions,” he said.
