Kogi Speaker Commiserates with HE, Arc YOMI Awoniyi over the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Awoniyi
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress in the yet to be concluded National Assembly Election for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Olushola Matthew Kolawole, has condoled and commiserated with the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi over the demise of his beloved mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Awoniyi whose death occured few days ago after a brief illness.
The Speaker said it is devastating and sad for someone to lose a loved one especially the vessel through which he was born at the critical time that her words of wisdom, knowledge and understanding will be needed most to support him and the family, praying that God will comfort him, his siblings, family and people of Mopa land in Mopamuro local government area
It is on this note that Rt. Hon. Matthew O. Kolawole on behalf of his family, the people of Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, members, management and staff of the State Assembly wish to commiserate with the entire Awoniyi family, Mopamuro Traditional Council led by the Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jerome Joledo and Mopa community for the death of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Awoniyi who died few days ago .
