Kogi State Government Honours Rt. Hon. Mathew Olushola Kolawole at 60th Birthday Thanksgiving Service in Kabba
Kabba, Kogi State – The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke-Igbala, Ayeteju, Kabba was filled with praise and gratitude as dignitaries, political leaders, clergymen, and members of the public gathered to celebrate the 60th birthday Thanksgiving Service of Rt. Hon. Mathew Olushola Kolawole (popularly known as Yomikola), former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and a respected leader in the state’s political landscape.
Representing the Government of Kogi State at the occasion was Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), the State Security Adviser. A seasoned public administrator, Comdr. Omodara has served both past and present administrations with distinction and remains a vital figure in Kogi State’s grassroots political mobilization and security strategy.
Comdr. Omodara was present on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who extended his warmest regards and heartfelt congratulations to Rt. Hon. Kolawole on this milestone celebration.
In his address, he described the celebrant as “a devoted public servant whose contributions to legislative governance and community development have left an indelible mark on the state.”
Furthermore, Comdr. Omodara delivered a special message from the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who praised Rt. Hon. Kolawole for his loyalty, leadership, and unwavering dedication during his tenure as Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly.
