Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) Praises Hon. Leke Abejide’s Community Service
Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), Kogi State Security Adviser, has praised Hon. Leke Abejide for his outstanding community service, describing him as a “grass root” leader with vision.
In an interview with newsmen at the sidelines of the 50th birthday celebration of Chief Mrs. Esther Modupe Abejide and the 20th wedding anniversary of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center, Abuja
Omodara commended Abejide’s efforts in bringing development to Okunland, particularly in Yagba and Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency

“He has done so much in terms of bringing dividends to the people, and we appreciate him,” Omodara said.
The Security Adviser also lauded Abejide’s support for security initiatives, citing his mobilization of hunters and provision of logistics. “Leke is trying to help as far as security is concerned, and we appreciate his efforts,” he added.
Omodara urged politicians to emulate Abejide’s selfless service, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and celebrating good leadership.
He also advised aspiring politicians to focus on serving the people and addressing their needs, rather than personal ambitions.
Regarding his recent visit to the UK, Omodara said he met with Kogi State expatriates who appreciated the state’s progress under Governor Ahmed Dutma Dodo.
“They are ready to support the government, and we appreciate their efforts,” he said.
The Security Adviser encouraged Kogi State citizens abroad to continue supporting their home state and assured them of a warm welcome if they return home.
He used the occasion to congratulate the couple on their great achievement of celebrating a blessed 20th wedding anniversary, and on Chief Mrs. Esther Modupe Abejide’s 50th birthday, praying that God will continue to bless and increase them in all ramifications.
The state security adviser attended the event with his darling wife, Chief (Mrs) Bosede Omodara, the Chief Executive Officer, Southward Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Edumo, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State.
