Kogi West APC Primary: I Remain Unperturbed, My Campaign Continues – Senator Karimi
Senator Sunday Karimi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kogi West Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, has declared that he remains undeterred by the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja concerning his candidature.
Karimi, who reacted to the judgment in a statement, said he was confident in the Nigerian judicial system and would pursue his rights through the appellate process.
His reaction followed a suit instituted by Hon. Samuel Bamidele Aro challenging his emergence as the APC flagbearer for the Kogi West Senatorial District.
The senator expressed dissatisfaction with the court’s decision, arguing that it was inconsistent with the evidence presented before it. He also questioned the trial judge’s position on the issues of statute of limitation in pre-election matters and the authority responsible for conducting party primaries and determining their outcomes.
