Kogi West Must Unite for Tinubu and Ododo’s Re-election, OLOPE Declares
Lokoja – The Okun League of Progressive Elites (Olope) has emphasized the need for unity among Kogi West stakeholders to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
The declaration was made at a meeting with Lokoja stakeholders at the residence of Rt Hon Alfa Imam, former Kogi House of Assembly member and current Lokoja APC leader.
According to reports, the meeting unanimously agreed that Okun and Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency should fuse together, given their common political interests as a senatorial district.
The DG of OLOPE, Hon Alfred Bello who spoke at the meeting, stated that the majority of Okun people have resolved to support Tinubu and Ododo’s re-election, with no going back.
Rt Hon Imam commended OLOPE ‘s leadership initiative and promised massive support for the duo under his leadership in Lokoja.
Mr. David Ehimony, a chieftain of PDP, said Ododo’s acceptance transcended party lines because of his leadership qualities and humility.
