The Kogi West Patriotic Assembly, has lauded the extensive accomplishments of Sen. Sunday Karimi, described him as a leader who is genuinely dedicated to improving the lives of his constituents rather than one driven by political ambition.

described Sen. Karimi’s approach to representation as defined by practical solutions, a deep understanding of the needs of his constituency, and a commitment to impactful, long-lasting improvements.
The assembly said it will continue to enlighten people who pretend and do not to see the good works of Sen. Karimi, pointing out that as his work progresses, the people of Kogi West are and will continue to witness a transformative shift in their region—one driven by strategic leadership and a clear vision for a brighter future.
KWPA in the statement expressed appreciation that Sen. Karimi’s interventions since his emergence in the 10th Assembly span several critical sectors, including healthcare, rural infrastructure, and renewable energy.
The assembly further said that the senator has also invested in solar-powered street lights to enhance security and reduce energy costs in underserved areas.
While noting that the mischief makers scored the Senator high in his regular palliative distribution, expressed appreciation that the gargantuan Military Forward Base built in Egbe boundary between Kwara and Kogi states caught their attention, described Sen. Karimi as a rare gem personality who is particularly about long lasting accomplishments for the zone.
The assembly mentioned the ongoing rehabilitation project of the Government Secondary School, Koton Karfe in Kogi local government area to remodel the school under the National Senior Secondary Education Commission, facilitated by Sen. It is also not a fluke that Sen. Karimi has begun the Construction, Rehabilitation of 140 Boreholes, Valued At N1.24billion Across Kogi West. This effort includes the construction of New 75 Number Solar powered boreholes and the Rehabilitation of another 60 Number moribund Water Schemes across communities in Kogi West.
Depending on how you see the Senator Representing Kogi West, Sen Karimi’s gift of Toyota Corolla car to Lokoja APC Media Team and some other individuals who are Youth is to them empowerment.
The same Senator Karimi doled out N27.5 Million to support APC candidates in the seven Local Government of Kogi Western Senatorial District, ahead of the Local Government Elections. The seven local government areas are; Kabba/Bunu, Koton Karfe/Kogi, Ijumu, Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro and Lokoja. The sum of N7 million was given to each of the seven chairmanship candidates, N500,000 to each of the Vice chairmanship candidates, and N200,000 to the 85 councilorship candidates across the 7 LGAs in Kogi west senatorial district.
For a man who during Yuletide seasons would appreciate the sacrifices of men of the Security agencies, Sen. Karimi has regularly fetes Military, Police, other Security formations in Kogi West.
Towards encouraging farmers, Sen. Karimi in his one year of representation, has donated bags of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and other support to farmers across the district.
That Sen. Karimi has chosen to maintain a low profile, choosing to focus on delivering results rather than seeking public recognition, is because his preference for action over publicity has earned him widespread respect among his constituents.
