Kogi West Senate: Bukky Withdraws Suit Challenging Karimi’s Victory

By Muhammad Basir – Lokoja

The NNPP candidate for the Kogi West Senatorial District in the just concluded senatorial election, Hon. Mohammed Ibukun Abubakar, has withdrawn his suit challenging the victory of the All Progressive Congress candidate, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi.

The suit which also joined the Independent National Electoral Commission for poor inclusion of the party’s logo on the ballot paper according to him denied his supporters their right to vote for him at the polls.

He maintained that the withdrawal became necessary after engaging his team and stakeholders as well.

He however urged the Senator-Elect to ensure he lifts the constituency above the present situation by providing adequate representation for the entire Senatorial District.
