KPFGG To Graduate 300 Beneficiaries In Soap, Detergent, Hair Cream Production
The Kogi Projector for Good Governance (KPFGG) is set to graduate 300 beneficiaries trained in the production of soap, detergents, hair cream and other household and personal-care products as part of its human capital development and economic empowerment programme.
The graduation ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 9:00am, will feature the presentation of certificates to the beneficiaries, recognition of outstanding contributors and the official launching of products produced by the trainees during the programme.
The initiative, according to the organisation, is designed to equip participants with practical skills that can enable them to establish small-scale businesses, generate income and improve their standard of living.

The training is being implemented under the Human Capital Development and Economic Empowerment Initiative of KPFGG, which focuses on providing members of the community, particularly those seeking alternative sources of livelihood, with skills and opportunities for economic self-reliance.
The graduation ceremony is being organised in collaboration with the Ohi of Ajaokuta, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Musa Isah Achuja, and will take place at the Adogo Town Hall, Ajaokuta Local Government Traditional Council Secretariat, Adogo, opposite the market.
According to the Director-General of KPFGG, His Eminence, Isah David Ohinoyi, JP, the event will provide an opportunity to showcase the skills acquired by the beneficiaries while encouraging greater participation in entrepreneurship and vocational training.
Ohinoyi disclosed that the ceremony would be chaired by the Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Taiye Abanika.
He named the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, as the Special Guest of Honour, while a former member representing the constituency, Hon. Lawal Idrisu, will serve as the Chief Launcher.
The Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Hon. Aliyu Ogido, is expected to serve as the Chief Host, while His Royal Highness, Alhaji Musa Isah Achuja, will be the Royal Father of the Day.
Hajia Onyioyamauru Ramat will serve as the Mother of the Day.
The KPFGG Director-General said the organisation had remained committed to promoting good governance through service to the people and empowerment programmes aimed at improving livelihoods.
He said the latest initiative was part of the organisation’s broader efforts to complement government programmes by equipping citizens with relevant vocational and entrepreneurial skills.
He explained that beyond the graduation ceremony, the beneficiaries would be expected to deploy the skills acquired during the training to create economic opportunities for themselves and, where possible, provide employment for others.
The organisation therefore called on stakeholders, community leaders, government representatives, entrepreneurs and members of the public to participate in the ceremony and support initiatives aimed at human capital development and economic empowerment.
